Rules of the Game of American Soccer

The main goal of this sport is to earn the most points by moving the ball in all allowed ways into the end zone on the opponents’ side of the field.

The total duration of the match is three hours. Each team has eleven participants – forwards, defenders and special players. Points are awarded for:

  • passing into the scoring (scoring) zone;
  • carrying the ball into the scoring area;
  • throwing the ball between the opponent’s goal posts.

At the beginning of the play seven forwards of each team are almost motionless near the line, where the ball lies. The center passes between the legs to a player on his team who starts the attack on the opposing team’s field. The ball is delivered to the target by two methods – either the player holds it in his hands and runs in the right direction, if necessary, passing the ball from hand to hand to his colleagues, or passes the ball in the throw (once). Scored over the crossbar between the bars is considered a goal. rules of American soccer A game hour in American soccer is divided into quarters of fifteen minutes. The beginning of each moment of play begins where the previous one was completed. A game moment ends when:

  • the ball carrier is knocked onto the field;
  • The ball carrier has run beyond the boundary of the field;
  • the ball touches the ground beyond the boundary of the field;
  • a player has missed a pass and the ball has fallen into the field;
  • the team managed to score the required number of points;
  • during an infraction of the rules of the game.

Either team has the opportunity to try four times to push the ball just over nine meters into the in-goal area. If the attempts are realized, the team gets four more of these automatically, if not – the right passes to the opponents. Equal score at the end of the game gives the referee the right to order an additional fifteen minutes to determine the final winner.
